Nantucket Shuttle Expands Routes
On Nantucket Island, a popular summer tourist site off Massachusetts, the Nantucket Shuttle has expanded its routes to cover the entire island, making it easier for visitors to get along without a car. Through Sept. 30, shuttle buses will operate from 7 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. every 10 to 60 minutes, depending on the route. Buses have bike racks and are handicapped-accessible. Rates are 50 cents to $1, and passes are available. For a brochure, maps and information, call the Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce at (508) 228-1700.
