An orientation session will be held Aug. 15 for anyone interested in entering the master of business administration program in the spring at the Ventura campus of Cal State Northridge. The MBA program is designed for working adults, with classes offered at night. Taking classes on a part-time basis, students with an undergraduate degree in business can finish the program in 2 1/2 years, said Dan Wakelee, assistant director of the Ventura campus.

The orientation session will be the only chance to enter the program for the next year, and space in the program is limited to 35 students.

To be considered for admission, prospective students must take the Graduate Management Admissions Test, which will be offered Oct. 19. The test registration deadline is Sept. 13. Application materials for both the program and GMAT will be available at the orientation session.
