‘Deadbeat’ Dad’s Property to Be Sold
Paintings, crystal, furniture and kitchen supplies of notorious “deadbeat dad” Jeffrey Nichols will be sold, his lawyer said. Nichols, who owes his ex-wife and their three children $640,000 in child support, was ordered to sell his home, which went for $507,000 in July, and all but his most personal possessions. The sale will exclude only his personal clothing, files and papers, his computer and the toys of the children from his second marriage, said Nichols’ lawyer, Paul Edelstein. The investment advisor evaded paying child support by moving around the country for years.
