JetHawks Shut Out by Pair of Ports

Right-hander Jeff Kramer scattered three hits in six innings of relief to lead the Stockton Ports to a 5-0 victory over the JetHawks on Tuesday night before a crowd of 1,502 at Billy Hebert Field.

Kramer (5-3) combined with starter Mike Pasqualicchio on a four-hitter.

Two of the JetHawks’ hits were doubles by Jason Cook and Scot Sealy.

Kramer struck out six and Pasqualicchio struck out four.

Dan Klassen paced a 10-hit attack for Stockton (26-20) by going three for three and driving in a run.

JetHawk starter Greg Wooten (4-3) allowed nine hits in six innings.

Wooten allowed all of Stockton’s runs, four of them earned. He struck out eight and walked one.

James Clifford was two for four for the JetHawks (21-25).

Stockton scored a pair of runs in the first inning, added two in the fourth and one in the sixth. The JetHawks stranded 10 runners.
