Golfers

Regarding “Clinton Photo Shot” (letter, Aug. 22), I guess it’s all in how you look at it.

The Aug. 17 photo of President Clinton after an undesired tee shot illustrates to me how serious we amateur golfers can be about our game.

I understand, Mr. President. It has happened to all of us who try. Maybe only another golfer can truly appreciate the photo. To me it was beautiful--a slice of life with all its pain and agony.
