Joffrey Ballet Sets Auditions for Kids
The Joffrey Ballet of Chicago will audition 9- to 14-year-old male and female ballet students on Sept. 8 at Cal State Long Beach’s Dance Studio No. 2.
The Joffrey is seeking students to fill 60-70 dancing roles in the company’s Dec. 24-29 Orange County Performing Arts Center performances of “The Nutcracker.”
Auditions begin at 10 a.m., and all students must be 5 feet tall or shorter. Rehearsals will be held at Cal State Long Beach Nov. 2-Dec. 22.
