3D Systems to Buy Tooling Company for $1.74 Million

3D Systems Corp. in Valencia has reached an agreement to buy Keltool Inc. in St. Paul, Minn., for $1.74 million.

Keltool makes steel tooling for plastic injection molding machines that use 3D’s prototyping systems.

3D Systems will also issue Keltool a warrant to purchase 50,000 shares of 3D Systems stock at $14.75 a share. The deal is expected to close this month.
