Comarco Inc. said it expects increased revenue in the fourth quarter ending Jan. 31, 1997, and the following fiscal year, fueled by new contracts and the acquisition of two businesses. The acquisitions, and new contracts totaling $70 million, should boost revenue by $20 million next year, the wireless communications provider said.

Comarco earned $1.2 million, or 22 cents a share, on revenue of $16.8 million in the year-ago fourth quarter. The company earned $3.9 million, or 75 cents a share, on revenue of $69.8 million for the fiscal year ended last Jan. 31.

Comarco acquired GTE Corp.’s roadside cellular call box operation and R.A.L. Consulting & Staffing Services Inc.
