Chambliss Pleased With Interview
Yankee batting instructor Chris Chambliss, who flew to Los Angeles on Thursday and returned that night, said he was happy with the positive nature of a three-hour interview with Angel General Manager Bill Bavasi and Tim Mead, assistant general manager.
“I think if they have more interest or if they put me on a short list, they’ll bring me in again for another interview,” Chambliss said. “I’m pleased with the way it went, but that’s not where my mind is right now. My full attention is on trying to win the World Series.”
