L.L. Knickerbocker Revenue Rises
L.L. Knickerbocker Co. said Wednesday it expects to report $20 million in revenue for the fourth quarter, compared with $4 million a year ago. In the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31, 1995, the company had a net loss of $181,070, or 1 cent a share. For all of 1995, the company had net income of $1.3 million, or 10 cents a share, on revenue of $13.1 million.
L.L. Knickerbocker also said it has completed its acquisition of more than 80% of the outstanding stock of Georgetown Collection Inc. and its wholly owned unit, Magic Attic Press Inc., for $1.68 million in restricted stock. Georgetown Collection of Westbrook, Maine, develops and markets porcelain dolls.
L.L. Knickerbocker develops a line of celebrity endorsed dolls and other products.
