Flame Coaches Fined by League
Associated Press
Calgary assistant coaches Guy Lapointe and Kevin Constantine were suspended by the NHL as a result of an incident involving a fan during a game at Edmonton a week ago.
Lapointe was suspended for two games and Constantine for one game after the league viewed videotapes of the incident, which showed Lapointe taking a punch at the fan and Constantine trying to join in.
The incident occurred when a fan behind the Flames’ bench poured a drink and food over Lapointe’s head.
