A $1,000 reward is being offered for information about an alleged gang-related stabbing Friday morning in Thousand Oaks.

The victim, 18-year-old Robert Speer, of Thousand Oaks, told authorities he was at a gas station near the intersection of Moorpark and Janss roads at 1 a.m. when he got into an argument with a man and was stabbed in the hand, according to Sheriff’s Sgt. Mike De Los Santos.

The incident appeared to be gang-related, De Los Santos said.

After cutting Speer’s hand, the suspect drove off in an older-model silver Cadillac, police said. He is described as a 20-year-old Latino man, 5-foot-7 and 120 pounds, according to De Los Santos.
