Five people suspected of selling drugs have been arrested by police in raids this week.

Ventura officers arrested two women and a man Tuesday at a residence in the 1100 block of Meta Street on suspicion of selling methamphetamine, a police spokesman said.

Authorities said narcotics officers raided the home of 40-year-old Brian Radford. When they arrived, Radford jumped from a window but was caught, the spokesman said.

Inside the house, officers found Tracy Rogers, 36, who also lived at the residence; Brenda Becker, 36, of Ventura; and five children between 5 and 13 years old, the spokesman said. He said officers also found an undisclosed amount of methamphetamine, weapons, scales and an 8-inch pipe bomb.

Wednesday morning, about 10 officers from the Oxnard, Ventura and Port Hueneme police departments raided a home in the 3700 block of Dean Drive in Ventura.

The raid culminated a monthlong investigation by Oxnard narcotics investigators.

Police arrested Eric Anderson, 19, and Jennifer Dahlman, 24, charging them with possession of about $5,000 worth of marijuana, methamphetamine and cocaine for sale, Oxnard Police Det. Scott Whitney said.

Also found at the home were drug paraphernalia, two police scanners, scales, a stolen bicycle and about $3,000 in cash, Whitney said.

The suspects arrested in both raids were booked into Ventura County Jail, where they are awaiting arraignment on drug possession and sales charges, officials said.
