Sea View Powers Set to Collide on Friday

League play opens across the county Friday in boys’ soccer. Two top-10 teams meet in the Sea View opener, when No. 7 El Toro travels to No. 8 Woodbridge. El Toro, led by high-scoring forwards Brian Stucker and Ronnie Davis, began the season ranked second in the county.

In the Golden West League, top-ranked Santa Ana travels to Saddleback, a top-five team in the preseason that has struggled during the first month. Santa Ana, coming off a tournament title at Trabuco Hills, is led by senior forward Juan Reyes, named MVP of that tournament.
