Thoughtful Young Opinions on Ebonics
Regarding the Youth Opinion (“Ebonics vs. English: ‘You Wouldn’t Wear Sweats to a Wedding”’ Dec. 28), the media hypes everything to the point of hysteria and tries to divide the nation, but these five youngsters are calmly telling America that the youth of our country are smarter than they are given credit for.
Congratulations to Terrence Braggs, Richard Post, Stephanie Taylor, Liliana Salinas and Eimon Ra’oof, as well as their parents, who have obviously done a great job of raising good, thoughtful kids.
