Variety of Classes in the Arts Available

Slip into your ballet slippers, discover yourself through a personal journal or shake your booty with your precocious toddler.

Classes to learn how to do these activities, and dozens more, are available at the Barranca Vista Center, 7050 E. Ralston St., Ventura.

The center provides arts education for all ages. In addition, Barranca Vista’s after-school outreach program offers numerous art classes for children at local elementary schools.

Scores of new classes have begun with the new year. They include Tot Creative Dance Movement, Knots and Weaves--a class to learn to tie and braid belts and bags--and Jazzercize. Classes range in price from $30 to $42. Registration is underway. Call 658-4726 for more information.
