Penguins Wearing That Hurt Look
Mario Lemieux may sit out the Penguins’ next three games because of back spasms suffered while charging the net Tuesday against Calgary.
The Penguins also could be without Jaromir Jagr for at least one game. He tried to practice Wednesday but quit after only 15 minutes because of a groin pull. Forwards Petr Nedved (wrist) and Tomas Sandstrom (flu) also may sit out today’s game.

A spokesman for the New York Islanders said contract glitches with the team’s cable television station have been worked out and that potential owner John Spano is ready to proceed with the sale.
Meanwhile, the New York Times reported that Spano will ask Mike Milbury to step down as coach and concentrate on his duties as general manager.
