Inflation
Don’t you just love reading those monthly inflation reports out of Washington. We are told that inflation in 1996 was the worst it has been in six years (Jan. 15) but not to worry. If you don’t count the high cost of energy and food, it is the lowest in over 20 years. Now if you haven’t realized this new low, all you need do is shut off your furnace, put your car in the garage and don’t buy any groceries.
