Charter Members: Valley politicians are lining up to run for seats on a commission that would revamp the creaky city charter. . . . TV Trouble: Two men have been arrested in the attempted burglary of a pair of TV sets from the Mt. Olympus home of singer Bonnie Raitt. . . . It happened Monday when husband Raymond O’Keefe, a Disney exec, confronted the pair, who dropped the TVs and ran, says Deputy D.A. Robert Cohen. North Hollywood police made the arrests. Raitt, whose 1977 album was called “Sweet Forgiveness,” wasn’t home during the intrusion.

Play Ball! Junior shortstop Adam Kennedy, above, is back as CSUN’s baseball team opens the season today with a game moved to Riverside because of soggy field conditions in the Valley. . . . An All-American, Kennedy is ranked as the 47th-best professional prospect among college players by Baseball America (C12).
