Comforting Sounds to Soothe Baby to Sleep

Ever notice how the hum of a motor can put a baby to sleep? Smart Baby Care Inc. presents three audio cassette tapes of digitally recorded “white noise”--an air conditioner, hair dryer and more.

This kind of sound is especially effective with overstimulated infants, blocking out noise and other distractions, while the comforting hum eases the baby into a sleepy state. Each tape contains one hour of sound. They are priced at $10 each, or $19 for all three. The tapes are Available at Babies R Us, or by calling (800) STOPCRY (786-7279).
