Donald L. Kimball was named vice president...

Donald L. Kimball was named vice president of finance at Valencia-based Newhall Land & Farming Co.

Kimball will retain his current title of controller.

Also, Thomas H. Almas was named Newhall’s vice president of administration. Almas will remain corporate secretary.

* David Evans was named senior vice president of international and new business development for Burbank-based Warner Bros. Consumer Products.

Evans was formerly vice president of business development, operations and planning.

Prior to that, he was European financial controller.

* Paul Yanover was named vice president of technology for Burbank-based Walt Disney Feature Animation.

Previously, Yanover was director of technology, and prior to that he was a software developer for the division.

* Tim Grant of Camarillo, a broker with CB Commercial Real Estate Group, has been promoted to vice president.

He has been with the company in its Ventura office since 1981.

Grant, who specializes in west Ventura County office properties, has handled transactions such as the sale of the Center Promenade in Ventura and the sale of seven acres in Oxnard on which the State Compensation Insurance Fund headquarters was built.

* Hespenheide Design in Westlake has hired Michelle Wilberding as an associate. Wilberding, formerly of Detter Graphic Design of Madison, Wis., has four years of graphic design experience.

Hespenheide Design specializes in book design, annual reports and corporate identity projects.

* Kenneth A. Kecskes and Bonnie A. Whaley have been hired as associates with the law firm of England, Whitfield, Schroeder & Tredway.

Kecskes graduated with honors from the University of San Diego School of Law, and Whaley earned her law degree at Loyola University.

England, Whitfield, Schroeder & Tredway, a 22-lawyer firm, was established in Ventura County more than 30 years ago.
