Football Great Ditka to Represent KCD Diet Line

KCD Holdings in Westlake Village has signed Mike Ditka to represent its line of weight-loss and cholesterol-reduction products.

Ditka, a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and a studio commentator for “NFL on NBC,” will appear in television commercials beginning next month and make personal appearances on behalf of the company.

Ditka was head coach of the Chicago Bears from 1982 through 1992, and in 1985 led the Bears to a 15-1 regular-season record, capturing the NFL crown in Super Bowl XX.

KCD markets over-the-counter dietary supplements. SeQuester1 is sold at more than 35,000 stores throughout the country. In 1996, KCD introduced SeQuester2, an appetite suppressant, and SeQuester3, a chromium dietary supplement. The company recently launched PhytoQuest, a dietary supplement to reduce dietary cholesterol.
