Selanne Streak Ends at 12 Games
Teemu Selanne was held without a goal or an assist for the first time since Dec. 28, ending his 12-game point streak three games shy of the 15-game Mighty Duck record he set last season.
Selanne scored nine goals and 18 points during his 12-game streak, which had been the longest current streak in the NHL. The longest in the NHL this season was 17 games, by Philadelphia’s Eric Lindros.

Duck wingers Joe Sacco (strained chest muscles) and Warren Rychel (sore back) missed a third consecutive game because of injury. Sacco is scheduled to be re-examined today by team physicians.
