Epoch Networks Inc. Raises $23 Million

Epoch Networks Inc. said Thursday it has raised $23 million more in financing from several investors to expand its Internet business into metropolitan markets.

Epoch said it plans to use the bulk of the funding for acquisitions of regional Internet service providers and office expansions. Investors include Hancock Venture Partners, CIBC Wood Gundy Capital, Providence Equity Partners and Prime Ventures.
