Nuggets Put Guard Smith on Injured List

Point guard Kenny Smith, who is suffering from tendinitis in his right knee, was put on the injured list by the Denver Nuggets. Smith, who was signed by the Nuggets Jan. 24 after being released by Orlando, split time with Brooks Thompson at the point during Thursday night’s 92-68 loss at Indiana. Smith scored only two points in 24 minutes and missed all six shots he took.
