Rogers Suffers Hand Injury
Forward Rodney Rogers will undergo X-rays on his left hand today after sustaining an injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s overtime loss to Indiana.
Rogers, who played the entire game and had 15 points, eight rebounds and three assists in 53 minutes, said he was injured while going for a loose ball.
The injury seemed to hamper Rogers, who missed two of three shots in the final quarter and didn’t shoot in overtime. Rogers had only one rebound in the second half and overtime.
“I thought the job we did on Rogers was the key,” Pacer Coach Larry Brown said.

Center Dwayne Schintzius flew back to Los Angeles on Sunday after complaining of a stomach ailment.
Schintzius, who missed two games earlier this season because of a similar illness, is expected to be examined today by team physician John Pack.
Clipper Coach Bill Fitch said Schintzius, who was miffed that Fitch held him out of Friday night’s 28-point loss at Detroit, took ill after going through a rigorous workout Saturday.
“Yesterday’s practice is what killed him,” Fitch said. “He had to work hard, and all of a sudden he’s sick.”
