A Foolish Switch in the Comics
OK, it’s the cartoonists’ version of April Fools Day.
In newspapers across the country, 46 syndicated cartoonists are trading comic strips for one day, with some imitating the strip’s style and some offering a take all their own.
Strips affected in today’s Times are “Ballard Street,” “For Better or for Worse,” “Blondie,” “Shoe,” “Drabble,” “Mother Goose and Grimm,” “Non Sequitur,” “Jump Start,” “Garfield,” “Momma,” “Baby Blues,” “Bizarro,” “9 Chickweed Lane,” “The Family Circus” and, in the Business section, “Dilbert.”
