Goaltender Storr Is in Store for Lots of Work
Since the Kings have been officially eliminated from the Stanley Cup playoff race, goaltender Jamie Storr, who was recalled from the minors on Tuesday, will get plenty of ice time over the last five games of the regular season.
Storr, who had been slowed the last few weeks because of a foot injury, has played most of the season with Phoenix in the International Hockey League. Storr, the Kings’ No. 1 pick in 1994, has played in 11 NHL games and has a 4-4-1 record in games he started. He made his only appearance with the Kings this season when he replaced Byron Dafoe in the third period in a 6-2 loss to the New York Rangers last month.
