Rockwell Names 2 Senior Vice Presidents

* John D. Cosgrove and Dwight W. Decker have been named corporate senior vice presidents of Rockwell International Corp. in Seal Beach. Cosgrove is president of Rockwell Avionics and Communications. Decker is president of Rockwell Semiconductor Systems.

* Dale F. Frey has joined the board of directors of First American Financial Corp. in Santa Ana, as well as the board of its principal subsidiary, First American Title Insurance Co. Frey is the retired chairman and president of the General Electric Investment Corp. in Connecticut.

* Jeffrey A. Zakaryan has formed Global Strategies, a leadership development, coaching and consulting firm in Dana Point. Zakaryan had been with Fluor Daniel for more than 15 years.

* Steve Kang has joined Colorbus Inc. in Irvine as vice president of engineering. Kang will oversee a new engineering department that will focus on product enhancement and new features for the company’s print servers. He joined the company from Xerox Corp. Kang also previously served as a software engineer for Unisys Corp. and Startel Corp.

* Amie Curnutt has been named business development manager at Thomas P. Cox Architects. She previously held positions with O’Connor Construction Management, Ocean Pacific, Nihon Kohden America and Pan Pacific Hotels.

* Stephen J. Kahn has joined the board of directors of Environmental Software, a Huntington Beach developer of software for environmental engineering and natural resource management. He is the co-founder of Integrity QA Corp., a developer of software test technology.

* James M. Feeney has been appointed vice president of manufacturing and logistics for Morton Electronic Materials in Tustin. He previously was general manager at the Matsushita Electronic Materials division of Aromat Corp.

* Ty G. Rogers has joined the Newport Beach office of Van Kasper & Co. as vice president, investments. He was formerly senior vice president and retail sales manager at Cruttenden Roth in Irvine.

* Jim McPhee has been appointed state director to lead the California region for HMS National in Tustin, a provider of real estate related products and services. He had been senior vice president with Century 21 Real Estate Corp. in Irvine since 1989.

* Richard E. Lucey has joined Edison Capital in Irvine as senior vice president and chief financial officer. He was previously president and director of the Nynex Credit Co. in New York. Edison Capital is the investment and financial services subsidiary of Edison International.

* Louise M. Murphy has been named to the newly created position of vice president of statistics, data management and scientific information technology for Co-Censys Inc., an Irvine biopharmaceutical company. Murphy formerly was vice president of clinical data operations for Concepts in Pharmaceutical Research Inc. in Irvine.

* John E. Martin has joined the board of Newriders Inc., a Fresno-based operator of restaurants and apparel shops, increasing the size of its board to five. Martin is chairman and chief executive of PepsiCo’s Casual Dining unit and former chairman and chief executive of PepsiCo’s Taco Bell Worldwide unit.

* Gregory B. Sparks has joined Heritage Mines Ltd. in Newport Beach as president and chief executive. Sparks has held senior executive positions with Echo Bay Mines, Standard Metals Corp., American Mine Services, Tenneco Minerals/American Borate, Dravo and Freeman Coal.

* Hal Heitzmann has joined CardioVascular Dynamics Inc. as vice president of research, development and engineering. He had been vice president of catheter development at Cardiac Pathways Corp.

* Doug Jacks has been named vice president and manager of the Bank of Yorba Linda’s Westminster branch. He was the manager of the Huntington Beach office, which was established in 1991.

* Gary Smith has been appointed vice president of Marine National Bank in Irvine. He has responsibility for lending and business development functions. Smith most recently had been vice president and manager of the Los Alamitos office of Harbor Bank.

* Greg Arbues has been named vice president, commercial banking officer for Western Financial Bank’s commercial banking group in Irvine. He formerly was vice president of First Interstate/Wells Fargo Bank.

* Roger W. Lundy has been appointed a senior vice president of Waldron & Co., an investment banking stock brokerage with offices in Irvine and San Francisco. He was formerly a vice president at Everen Securities in Newport Beach. Lundy also has been an assistant vice president at Oppenheimer & Co. in New York and a vice president for First Charter Ltd.

* Katherine Koster has joined O’Connor & Co. Securities in Newport Beach as senior vice president. She is the former administrative manager for the County of Riverside Land Secured Financing Division.
