Update / Follow-up on the news
Monument signs may soon be built at the entrance to City Hall and the adjacent community center.
City Council members last week approved designs for the signs and will consider soliciting bids for the project at a meeting later this month.
The 14-by-4-foot sign in front of the community center will read “La Habra Community Center” and display the city logo as well as changing messages and public announcements.
The 8-by-4-foot sign in front of City Hall and the Police Department will read “La Habra Civic Center” and also display the city logo. Both signs will face La Habra Boulevard.
