Poise and Pageantry: The 10th Miss Deaf CSUN will be crowned Saturday night. “It’s not a beauty pageant. It’s about poise, communication and charisma,” said pageant advisor Nina Treiman. It’ll be at the intersection of Victory and Balboa boulevards in Van Nuys. . . . Participants are encouraged to bring their dogs.
