* Re “Clinton Views Flooding, Boosts Federal Aid,” April 23: After reading about the many good Samaritans who have taken in the displaced flood victims, I’m wondering why our president hasn’t offered the shelter of the White House. Maybe because the Lincoln Bedroom is already booked solid?
