Motorist, 58, Suffers Fatal Heart Attack

A 58-year-old Hermosa Beach woman died when she suffered a heart attack at the wheel and crashed into traffic, police said.
Joan Bebb was driving on Bristol Street near the San Diego Freeway offramp at 5:45 p.m. Sunday when she lost control of the car, crossed the median and crashed into two stopped cars on the northbound side of the street, said Police Sgt. Bob Durham.
A 5-year-old in one of the cars suffered a concussion, and a 7-year-old in the same car suffered a cut forehead. Both were taken to Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center.
Bebb was pronounced dead at Coastal Communities Hospital.
