Buffalo Soldiers Are Focus of Presentation

The history of the Buffalo Soldiers, the famed African American cavalry units that fought during the Civil War, will be retold by members of a reenactment group Tuesday at Orange Coast College.

Members of the New Buffalo Soldiers, which celebrates the deeds of the “Black Horse Regiment,” will speak at 11 a.m. in Fine Arts Hall 119 and display memorabilia.

The event is free and the public is invited.

The college is at 2701 Fairview Road.
