Floral Designer Will Speak at Nixon Library

Former White House floral designer Dorothy Temple will speak at the Richard Nixon Library & Birthplace on Monday.

Temple, who served as a floral design consultant to presidents Nixon, Ford and Carter and who served as chief floral decorator for President Reagan, will give a slide presentation of floral arrangements she made for the White House.

The presentation will include a demonstration during which Temple will re-create arrangements she made for state dinners held in honor of Anwar Sadat and Margaret Thatcher.
