School to Celebrate Blue Ribbon Honor
Meadows Elementary School in Thousand Oaks will hold a celebration to mark its designation as a National Blue Ribbon School at 1 p.m. June 9 at the school, 2000 La Granada Drive.
Conejo Valley Unified School District Supt. Jerry Gross, members of the Thousand Oaks City Council and Rep. Brad Sherman (D-Sherman Oaks) will join Principal Timothy Stevens in the event.
The citation is awarded yearly by the U.S. Department of Education in recognition of excellence in education.
