Architecture School Hires Director
The Southern California Institute of Architecture has hired Los Angeles architect and professor Neil M. Denari to be the school’s third director in its 25-year history, officials said this week.
Denari will succeed Michael Rotondi, who has headed the Marina del Rey-area campus since 1987. Although it enrolls only 450 graduate and undergraduate students, it has an international reputation as a center of innovative design.
Denari is head of the Cor-Tex Architecture firm and has taught at the school for nine years. He is working on the renovation and master plan for the Arlington Museum of Art in Arlington, Texas.
