Tri-Cities Shows Off Power Display, 11-4
Two-run home runs by John Santor, Jon Anello and Daniel Champieux powered Tri-Cities to an 11-4 victory over Palmdale in a District 20 game Wednesday at Highland High.
Robert Cowan scattered 10 hits for Tri-Cities (5-6-1), striking out three.
Central Valley 5, Granada Hills East 1--Mike Schultz (3-2) allowed one hit in six scoreless innings, and Casey Roth and Dan Palardy drove in runs in the first inning at Cleveland High.
Valley North 9, Granada Hills West 3--Micah Berger had two hits, including a home run for Valley North (11-1) at Granada Hills High.
Peter Gunny had a double and a triple for Granada Hills West.
Encino 6, Studio City South 4--Encino scored two unearned runs in the fourth inning to break a 4-4 tie at Campbell Hall High.
Kris Palomares of Encino pitched 2 1/3 perfect innings.
West Hills 10, Burbank South 7--Brian Kirby hit a two-run double in a nine-run rally for West Hills (4-5) at Chaminade High.
