School adjustments in a big way on ‘USA High’; Fox twists afternoons around; Homer hits CBS

USA High is a new show about a group of American high school students from different backgrounds who attend the American School in Paris (USA, Monday at 5:30 p.m.) In the pilot, “An American in Paris,” the students welcome their newest member, Jackson Greene (Josh Holland). He doesn’t want to be there and tries to get expelled. But his new friends help him adjust. For ages 12 to 17.

Tony Twist and his three kids continue to have strange things happen to them after moving to a lighthouse on the rugged Australian coast in Fox Kids Network’s new afternoon lineup beginning with “Round the Twist” (Fox, Mondays-Thursdays at 4:30 p.m.). On Monday’s episode, the Twists and a group of protesters end up at a waste disposal unit. Pete Twist ends up in the middle of a sea of polluted sludge and can’t wash it off. For ages 6-17.

The new animated series “Stickin’ Around” (Fridays at 4:30 p.m.) takes a look at children’s wild imaginations through the adventures of stick figures Stacy Sticker and her best friend Bradley. In a “Beware the Lunch Wad” episode this week, one of the kids’ lunches takes on a life of its own and create chaos in the cafeteria. For ages 6-11.

“The Trojan Horse” (CBS, Saturday at 9 a.m.), a new “Crayola Kids Adventures” special adapted for younger audiences from Homer’s ancient poem, stars Adams Wylie as Odysseus, an 11-year-old warrior. Odysseus leads Greek soldiers against Troy after Helen (Brittany Paige Bouck) is captured by the Trojans. For ages 6 to 12.

Littlefoot and his prehistoric friends Cera, Spike, Ducky, Petrie and Ali must enter the swamps and find a golden night flower to cure Littlefoot’s grandpa in The Land Before Time IV: Journey Through the Mists (Disney Channel, Saturday at 7 p.m.). For ages 5 to 11.
