OptimumCare Nets 5% More in 2nd Quarter

OptimumCare Corp., a provider of inpatient and outpatient mental health services, reported that net income for the second quarter increased 5% to $268,097, or 4 cents a share, from $254,721, or 4 cents a share, for the 1996 second quarter. Revenue climbed 11% to $3.1 million from $2.8 million. Net income for the first half rose 78% to $470,944, or 7 cents a share, from $264,255, or 4 cents a share, for the first six months of 1996. Revenue was up 18% to $5.9 million from $5 million.
