Adult Business Cited for Violations Closes
A Harbor City adult entertainment business that had been cited for operating illegally has closed, officials said Monday.
The Los Angeles city attorney’s office filed a misdemeanor complaint against Lingerie Oasis in March for operating too close to a massage parlor. City law prevents adults businesses from operating within 1,000 feet of a similar establishment.
Lingerie Oasis, owned by Ivette Gonzaga, 25, is located in a mall at 1212 Pacific Coast Highway and is too close to Sun Accupressure, the massage parlor, said Deputy City Atty. Brian Williams, who filed the complaint.
Gonzaga could not be reached for comment.
