Police Turn Up Note on Wider Bomb Plot

A note found in the apartment of two men accused of plotting a terrorist bombing on the subway system threatened a string of blasts unless the United States and Israel release six imprisoned Islamic or Arab militants, including the defendants in the World Trade Center bombing, ABC News reported. Unidentified sources told ABC that a would-be suicide bomber was to carry the note in a container made to survive an explosion.
