From Times Wire Reports

A small explosion, apparently caused by a firecracker or small bomb, went off in the lobby of Havana’s top hotel. The Spanish hotel chain that manages the Melia Cohiba said the blast resulted in “slight material damage and no injuries.” The statement gave no indication of what caused the explosion but said Cuban authorities were investigating. The blast came just three weeks after bombs rocked the lobbies of two other hotels, the Nacional and the Capri, in the Cuban capital. They caused damage and slightly injured three people.
