Jenny Glasgow of Corona del Mar shot a four-over 76 in the first round of qualifying for the 97th U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship at the 6,130-yard, par-73 Brae Burn Country Club in West Newton, Mass.
Han Hee-won of South Korea leads after an opening-round 68.
Eunice Choi of Dove Canyon shot 77, Alicia Allison of Santa Ana is at 79, Kellee Booth of Coto de Caza shot 81, Sue Ewart of Seal Beach had 83, Selby Schriber of Corona del Mar had 84 and Garden Grove’s Teri Goolsby shot 91.
