Boyds Wheels Inc.: The Stanton manufacturer of aluminum wheels and related products posted a second-quarter net loss of $4.1 million, or $1.08 a share, which included a number of one-time charges totaling $1.8 million. That contrasts with net income of $638,031, or 22 cents a share, for last year’s second quarter. Sales declined 47% to $4.3 million from $8.1 million. For the six months, the company had a net loss of $5.3 million, or $1.40 a share, contrasted with net income of $1.1 million, or 38 cents a share, a year ago. Sales were down 42% to $7.9 million from $13.7 million.
