Teen Accidentally Shoots Himself in the Head
SANTA ANA —
An Anaheim teenager accidentally shot himself in the head early Saturday when his gun went off in his hands, police said.
The 17-year-old youth was drinking with friends outside a house on the 400 block of South Western Avenue about 12:40 a.m. when the gun went off, Santa Ana police Lt. Dave Petko said.
The youth was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where, police said, he was listed in critical condition. Hospital officials declined comment.
