Web Site to Offer Live Jazz Broadcasts

N2K Entertainment’s Jazz Central Station Web site https://www.jazzcentralstation.com and radio station WBGO-FM in Newark, N.J., are teaming up to broadcast live jazz on the Internet seven days a week.

A press conference to demonstrate the live broadcast will begin at 4:15 p.m. Sept. 4, followed by the 4:30 p.m. Internet broadcast of a performance by pianist Benny Green and his trio.

There will also be a party at Birdland in New York City from 4-6 p.m. to mark the event.
