Chicago Pizza & Brewery Inc.: The Mission Viejo operator of casual dining restaurants reported second quarter profit of $118,000, or 2 cents a share, which included a $191,000 gain from insurance resulting from a restaurant fire. A net loss of $708,000, or 19 cents a share, was recorded for the same period in 1996. Revenue posted a gain of 2% to $6.6 million from $6.5 million. A loss of $54,000, or 1 cent a share, was reported for the first half, compared with a year-earlier loss of $1.1 million, or 28 cents a share. Revenue in the six-month period rose 49% to $12.4 million from $8.3 million.
