Wahlco Environmental Systems Inc.: The Santa Ana designer and manufacturer of air pollution control and power efficiency equipment said its loss for the second quarter narrowed to $390,000, or 3 cents a share, from a loss of $4.1 million, or 23 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue rose 40% to $14.1 million from $10.1 million. The first-half net loss was $994,000, or 6 cents a share, compared with a net loss of $4.9 million, or 28 cents a share, for the first six months of 1996. Revenue was up 14% to $26.8 million from $23.5 million.
