From Times Wire Reports

A court ruled that investigators may test the DNA of all young men in a French town, acceding to a request from the parents of a 13-year-old British girl raped and slain in a youth hostel. Caroline Dickinson was visiting the town of Pleine-Fougeres with schoolmates when she was raped and killed in July 1996. A homeless man was charged with the crime after police said he confessed, but his DNA tests did not match the sperm found on the victim’s body.
